Overview
The Solar modifier leverages NREL’s PVWatts to simulate solar panel generation for a premise. The model leverages a combination of user input and default values. For each original channel 1 interval, a channel 2 interval is generated. When combined, the net readings can be used to calculate the bill impact of solar adoption.
